2025 Leave Calendar Federal. Federal employees use this leave chart to track their annual and sick leave, comp, and credit hours earned and used throughout the year. A leave year ends on the day immediately before the first day of the first full biweekly pay period in the following calendar year.

Please note that most federal employees work on a monday through friday. A leave year begins on the first day of the first full biweekly pay period in a calendar year.
